Professional Biography
Kathryn Greene is a graduate student in the Price Lab. She received her BS in biology from Davidson College in 2018. At the Davidson College Herpetology lab, Kathryn investigated the dispersal behavior of juvenile spotted salamanders and assisted with many long-term lab projects including monitoring the diamondback terrapin population at Kiawah Island. In Dr. Price’s lab, Kathryn is investigating the effects of mountaintop removal mining and valley filling on stream salamander populations. Kathryn’s interests include hiking, camping, conservation biology, and herpetology.
